In October 2023, Projects Revive, in collaboration with our dedicated volunteers, took to the streets to extend kindness to those less fortunate. Did you know that Berlin has the highest number of homeless people in Germany? Projects Revive aims to make a meaningful impact in the lives of Berlin's homeless population. 

Together with dedicated volunteers, we distributed We distributed handmade lunch packages and winter kits containing essential items like blankets, socks, winter sets, raincoats, and more. We didn’t just hand out these packages; we took the time to engage in personal conversations, listen to their stories, sit with them, embrace them, and accept them as they are, introducing them to the love of Christ. For those who seek immediate help, we provided assistance in connecting with relevant support services

With a team of 30 volunteers from two countries, we visited four areas in Berlin to reach as many people as possible. As part of this project, Projects Revive released a special book/guide for the homeless titled "Your Creator Knows and Calls Your Name" (in German, "Dein Schöpfer Kennt und Ruft Deinen Namen"). This book, written by hand, explains the Gospel and how to seek the Lord from the perspective of a homeless person. It answers questions like what God’s plan is for your life, how to seek Him, and how to give your life to Him. Additionally, it provides information on local churches and resources for food and shelter.

The project's priority was to reach out to those who are often overlooked, guided by the Holy Spirit. We emphasize empathy, a listening ear, and sharing the love of Christ to bring hope and encouragement.

This project was an emotional experience. The stories and testimonies we heard from the homeless reminded us why our work is so important and necessary. Thousands of people walk past the homeless every day without speaking to them, even though many of them just need a simple conversation.

It was not only a blessing for the homeless but for us as well! We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all our supporters, volunteers, and generous donors. Without your support, our vision could not have been realized. Thanks to your commitment, we have been able to make a lasting impact and bring transformation to the homeless in Berlin.
