Project Delight the Children was our very first initiative focused on bringing joy to underprivileged children in the Netherlands. Our primary objective was to create a special day of pampering and support for these young individuals.
Recognizing the challenges faced by children in the Netherlands, such as the impact of inflation and economic crises, we aimed to address their immediate needs. Many children were attending school without breakfast, lacking proper clothing for the new school year, and without essential school supplies.

A day of joy and support

During the event, we organized various engaging activities, including art workshops, interactive sessions exploring the message of Jesus, and energetic dance workshops. To ensure the children's well-being, we provided them with nutritious meals for both lunch and dinner. As the day progressed, they had the opportunity to enjoy memorable experiences such as posing for pictures at the photobooth, indulging in cotton candy or popcorn, having their faces painted, and exploring the free clothing shop.
With the support of generous sponsors like The Little Legends and Rilla Go Rilla, we were able to equip each child with a brand new backpack filled with essential school supplies. It was a truly humbling experience to connect with these children and their families, bringing them into the spotlight and reminding them that they are valued and cherished.
