Project Delight the Children was our very first initiative focused on bringing joy to underprivileged children in the Netherlands. Our main goal was to create a special day of care and support for these kids.

A day of joy and support

We recognized the challenges faced by many children in the Netherlands, such as the impact of inflation and economic crises. Some children were attending school without breakfast, lacking proper clothing for the new school year, and missing essential school supplies.

During the event, we organized various  activities, including art workshops, interactive sessions about the message of Jesus, and dance workshops. We also provided handmade meals for both lunch and dinner. Throughout the day, the children enjoyed memorable experiences like posing for pictures at the photobooth, enjoying at the cotton candy and popcorn stand, having their faces painted, and shopping at the free clothing shop.

With the support of generous sponsors like The Little Legends and Rilla Go Rilla, we equipped each child with a brand-new backpack filled with essential school supplies for the coming school year. It was a truly humbling experience to connect with these children and their families, bringing them into the spotlight and reminding them that they are valued and cherished.
